About us

Our Legacy

Security has always been more than a service for us-it is a way of life. Our roots go back to Bhawani Security Services and Securitas India, founded by my father, an Indian Army veteran who proudly served the nation in three wars. From 1980 to 1990, these companies became pioneers in Central India, deploying over 850 ex-servicemen security guards and supervisors including highly trusted personnel from Nepal. They set benchmarks in professionalism, discipline, and reliability across industries and infrastructure projects.

Founder's Journey

Gaurav Choudhary (Master Mariner), is the Business Head of Operations of Equinoctial Security Surveillance™. From an early age, he was actively engaged in his father’s business, managing field operations for clients such as Larsen & Toubro (Awarpur/Chandrapur), Ashok Leyland (Bhandara), BEML (Nagpur), NTPC (Nagpur), dam construction projects in Totladoh, NEERI (Nagpur), and many others including cinema halls, steel companies, Koradi Thermal Power Plant, and Chandrapur Power Plant.

In 1992, he built a career spanning 33 years in the Merchant Navy, rising to the rank of Master Mariner.

After 9/11, the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) introduced the ISPS Code under the SOLAS Convention, after which he underwent extensive training and got certified as a Ship Security Officer and a Company Security Officer. He implements ship security plans, conducts threat assessments, enforces compliance, carries out audits, and implements corrective actions. This global experience has shaped his expertise in risk management, compliance, and operational resilience.

Carrying the Legacy Forward

When Gaurav chose a full-time career at sea and his father retired, the family businesses closed their chapter with dignity, leaving behind a strong reputation for trust and excellence.
